Plate heat exchangers give excellent heat transfer characteristics and are ideal where space is scarce. These units are very efficient, however can be prone to "clogging" and require regular cleaning. Send us your original plate heat exchanger part numbers and/or heat transfer specifications and you will be surprised at the savings that can be made. Suitable applications for plate exchangers are:

Replacement parts
The price of original "plate packs" can be more expensive than a new unit. Why spend time and money replacing plates & gaskets when you can often order a complete assembled new unit at less cost?

Materials
Plates are available in Titanium, Stainless steel, etc. offering increased protection against corrosive conditions.

Thermal Design
If you are unhappy with the original design, send us the operating specifications and improvements required and we will offer a suitable replacement. We can also provide a "shell and tube" equivalent, if you would prefer to have a unit that is more easily repaired onboard.
